About Me
Hi There! I'm Seismic Chaos, Chaos for short. I have played roller derby as a blocker, more recently bracing too, since 2010. I have played with NoTown Roller Derby from Fresno, Undead Roller Derby from Antioch, Central California Area Derby from Fresno, Sac City Rollers from SAcramento and now the Outlaws! I have moved a bit for job promotions as a Civil Engineer (mainly structural engineering) a few times in the last 10 years. My roller derby name stems from my structural engineering background. Seismic - or realated to earthquakes. My number is 5,299 and that was as a tribute to my mom in my first derby bout only 5 weeks after strapping wheels on my feet for the first time in over 15 years. She has always loved that number. Joining the Outlaws was the best decision! The ladies are so supportive and still keep it fun in nature. I really enjoy most of our bouts are relatively local. It really helps with work/home/fitness balance. I found many years ago the roller derby was the first sport I had played where everyone was trying to build you up, make you better, but encourage you in the process. This is especially true with the Outlaws. They make leaving the family at home less hard and enjoyable.

About Me
I never thought I'd ever be playing Roller Derby one day, or even be good at it for that. I thought I knew had to skate pretty well, until I came to practice. I looked ridiculous out there trying desperately not to fall. FAIL. After continuous practice, watching the Outlaws in admiration, and refusing to give up, I have improved tremondously and have even won a "Best Blocker" award. Never in a million years I thought I'd win something derby related. But I dont have that attitude anymore. If you go out there and give it your best and with a "I am not to be messed with" kinda attitude, anything is possible. Nothing brings out your inner beast more than strapping on some skates and hitting anyone that comes in your way. *ALWAYS BE PAWSITIVE* |

About Me
As an original founding member of the Outlaws, this team is very near and dear to my heart. I played for the Oulaws for several years mainly as a blocker/pivot, although I had some jammer time in there too. I'm now "retired" and have taken on the role of Coach for our new skater program - the "Misfits". Can't wait for the new season to start training our next batch of upcoming stars!

About Me
I found Outlaws RD in February of 2015, and instantly fell in love with the game, the team, and the challenge. For the first time in my life, I am doing something just for me. It has given me back a spark for life and the drive to be better than the person I was yesterday. Not only is it a great physical work out, the mental satisfaction I receive out on the track is worth more than money could ever buy.

About Me
I started roller skating when I was about 8 years old. I briefly participated in a figure skating club when i was a kid. I also have been known to strap on some roller blades now and again. Several months ago I heard about a roller derby team and I knew I had to get into that! Its the most fun ever and I love the girls I skate with. |
